The Narrow Road

Matthew 7:13-14: Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
In this world, there are ultimately only two ways: the narrow path and the broad road. These two roads have two very different destinations. One leads to eternal life with Christ, while the other leads to destruction and eternal separation from God. Jesus said, “For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction… For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life” (Matthew 7:13-14). The broad road is a path defined by sin and rebellion against God. It is easy to follow, and although there may be pleasure in sin for a season, it ultimately leads to destruction. As Scripture says, “the fleeting pleasures of sin” (Hebrews 11:25) cannot compare with what God has prepared for those who belong to Him.
So choose everyday to intentionally walk in accordance to the word of God, which leads to holiness and eventually to eternal life.
